These photos were taken with my new Canon 350D with EFS 17-85mm lens on a visit to the bird garden on 25th July 2006. They were shot in RAW.
Due to complete incompetence on my part I had nothing to write their names with so you will need to look them up in a book if you really want to know. My excuse is that the weather was so hot I couldn't think straight.

This was a very active little thing with a beautiful singing voice

You can never get the kids out of the water

The penguins seem to spend a lot of time looking up at the gallery where people are looking at them from. Could it be they think they might get some food?

Sadly neither the Rolls Royce nor the 'stretched' limo are mine :<)

Harewood House Bird Garden

All of these pictures were taken with my Panasonic FZ30 and shot in jpeg format on a visit to the bird garden on 25th July 2006. It was a blisteringly hot day and I think my brain was slightly overcooked so things didn't quite go as I would have liked. For instance, I sadly forgot to take a slate and piece of chalk so didn't get any make and model details. In light of this I have decided to call this one a Jug Penguin. :<)
